2008 year in review

It was a good year and it was a bad year.

I was only able to play 17 rounds for the year however in January my first Granduaghter was born so we spent a lot of time travelling to Norfolk Va to see her and her parents and at the end of June we went to our middle daughter's wedding in Hawaii.

My best round was mid summer at Ko Olina Golf Club Oahu Hawaii where I shot a 112 . It was my best round because of the location.

My Goals for the 2008 were:

Putt 31-33 per round. My actual was 36 per round.

Fairways Hit - 10. My actual was 6 per round.

GIR - 7. My actual was 3 per round.

Score 92-98. My actual was 105 to 108 per round.

Break 90 on a 6000+ yard course no

Pars per round - 2. My actual was less than1 per round.

Birdie's per round - 1. My actual was less than .5 per round.

Bogey's per round - 10. My actual was 5 per round.

Double Bogey's per round - 5. My actual was 10 per round.

Bad holes (triple Bogey or worse) - 0. My actual was 1.5 per round.

I made none of my goals so they will be my goals again in 2009.

I am coming to the conclusion that I need to practice more on everything with specific goals in mind not just hit a bucket of balls at lunch.
